Chiriqui Package

Introduction

This package will provide you the opportunity to run two sections of wild Chiriqui Viejo River in Chiriqui, by Costa Rica, and climb to the top of Volcan Baru (3,375 mts above sea level).

Description

We will depart from Panama City by bus in a 6-7 hour drive or by plane in a hour flight (your choice) to arrive to David, Chiriqui,  to encounter our easiest river trek on the first day.  On the second day, with this warm up of the section, we would  run a more challenging section.

On the third day we would climb Volcan Baru, up and down, in one day: we would travel light for a quick trek.  Usually we start from the base at Volcan around 7:00 A.M. reaching summit at 12:30 P.M. and back to base around 5:00 P.M.  You must be on good shape.

Next day we would return to Panama City.
